Changing The Domain Name of an Active Website

Caution: Changing the domain name of an active website will cause the old domain name to stop working. If this is not what you intend, then this article is not correct for your needs. Please contact our Support for assistance.

Changing a site to use a different domain can be done by logging in at https://control.rocket.net. Under "Sites" click on Manage:

Scroll down to where you see Site Information on the left and Domains on the right. To the far right is the Edit icon, shaped like a pencil. Click the Edit icon.

Enter the new domain name without the https:// prefix. Read the warning message, and if you agree, check the box and click Change. With that, your change will be completed.
