Before modifying the DNS, be sure to do "GO LIVE!" in the Rocket.net dashboard by following our Getting Started guide.
If you are using Namecheap for your DNS, this article will help you get your site pointed to Rocket.net.
Here's how to do it:
1. Locate your Rocket.net URL on the Overview tab > Site Information (e.g.: abc123.onrocket.site)
2. Login to your Namecheap Account.
3. Select Domain List from the left sidebar and click the Manage button next to your domain:
4. Navigate to the Advanced DNS > Host Records section > Click Add New Record button
5. Create the DNS records like below:
Type: A record
Host: @
Value: 104.19.154.92Type: CNAME Record
Host: www
Value: CDN URL (e.g: abc123.onrocket.site)6. Click on the
button to save the changes.
Once all changes are made, it may take up to 24 hours for the DNS to fully propagate around the world. However, typically these changes take place in just a few minutes.
