• Sites you host on Rocket.net are free on WP Umbrella starting June 1, 2026.

• If you're already a WP Umbrella customer, your invoice updates automatically, no action needed.

• Site Protect and the hourly backup add-on remain paid for everyone. Sites hosted elsewhere are billed at standard rates.

If you're already a WP Umbrella customer

Your account updates automatically. Here's what happens:

1. No action required. You don't need to enter a promo code, contact support, or migrate anything.

2. Your next invoice reflects the change. Sites you host on Rocket.net are moved off your billable total. They appear on your invoice with a partnership credit instead of a charge.

3. The credit starts on your first invoice dated on or after June 1, 2026. If your next billing cycle is, say, June 15, that's when you'll see it. If it's June 1, you'll see it immediately.

4. Your monitoring, updates, backups, and reports continue uninterrupted. Nothing about how WP Umbrella runs on those sites changes, only the billing.

If you're a Rocket.net customer without a WP Umbrella account

Activation takes about two minutes:

1. Go to wp-umbrella.com/signup and create your account.

2. Enter the promo code rocketnet2026 at checkout.

3. Connect your Rocket.net sites. From the WP Umbrella dashboard, add each Rocket.net-hosted site. WP Umbrella detects the hostname automatically and applies the partnership credit.

4. After your first month, sites you host on Rocket.net remain free for as long as they're hosted there. Sites hosted on other providers are billed at standard WP Umbrella rates from the second month onward.

What's included

The full WP Umbrella core platform is included on every Rocket.net-hosted site:

• Monitoring & Site Health: continuous uptime and performance tracking across mobile and desktop, with SSL and domain expiry checks, broken link checkers.

• Continuous Vulnerability Detection: automated scans every six hours flag vulnerable plugins before they're exploited

• Automated Client Reporting: white-label reports covering backups, monitoring events, custom work, and updates, ready to send to clients on a schedule

• AI-Ready Workflows: natural-language commands via the Umbrella skill for Claude

What's not included

Three things sit outside the partnership and remain billed normally:

• Site Protect add-on: virtual patching for advanced security workflows stays a paid upgrade for every customer, on Rocket.net or not

• Hourly backup add-on: sub-daily backups for high-frequency sites stay a paid upgrade for every customer

• Sites hosted with other providers: billed at standard WP Umbrella rates. Only sites hosted on Rocket.net qualify under this partnership.

The rule is simple: if a site is hosted on Rocket.net, it's free. If it's hosted somewhere else, it's standard pricing. Site Protect and hourly backups are always paid, wherever the site is hosted.

Common scenarios

"I have 10 sites — 6 on Rocket.net, 4 elsewhere. What does my bill look like?"

The 6 Rocket.net-hosted sites are free under the partnership. The 4 sites hosted elsewhere are billed at standard WP Umbrella rates. Your invoice shows the partnership credit applied to the Rocket.net-hosted sites and standard pricing for the rest.

"I'm migrating a site from another host to Rocket.net next month: when does the credit kick in?"

Once the site's hostname resolves to Rocket.net infrastructure, it's covered. Your next invoice after the migration automatically reflects the change. You don't need to re-enter the code or contact support.

"I'm moving a site from Rocket.net to another host. What happens?"

The site moves to standard WP Umbrella pricing from the next billing cycle. Your monitoring, backups, and reports continue exactly as before, only the billing changes. The site will appear on your regular invoice from that point on.

"Do staging and development sites qualify?"

Yes. Any site hosted on Rocket.net is included, regardless of whether it's production, staging, or development. If a staging site lives on Rocket.net, it's covered.

"I cancelled my Rocket.net plan. What happens to my WP Umbrella account?"

Your WP Umbrella account, data, history, and reports stay exactly as they are. Sites that are no longer hosted on Rocket.net move to standard WP Umbrella pricing from the next billing cycle. The cancellation only affects the partnership credit on those specific sites, not your account itself.

"I'm already a WP Umbrella customer. Do I need to enter the promo code on my existing account?"

No. The code rocketnet2026 is only for new signups and won’t work for you. Your existing account is updated automatically based on which of your sites are hosted on Rocket.net. There's nothing to enter, nothing to do.

"I added a new Rocket.net site after signing up. Does it become free automatically?"

Yes. Once a site's hostname resolves to Rocket.net infrastructure, the partnership credit applies on your next invoice. You don't need to re-enter the code or contact support. If you'd like us to confirm the change manually, contact us at support@wp-umbrella.com.

"Can I use the Umbrella skill for Claude on my Rocket.net sites?"

Yes. The Umbrella skill is included in your WP Umbrella account regardless of where your sites are hosted. See the skill setup guide for installation instructions.
