In this getting started guide, we'll talk through getting the Rocket WHMCS module installed to your WHMCS system.
Install WHMCS
Before activating the Rocket.net WHMCS module, you will need to have WHMCS installed and licensed.
To purchase WHMCS a license, please go directly to https://whmcs.com.
Rocket.net Module Configuration
Let's walk through getting your Rocket.net module configured to start selling some Managed WordPress Hosting!
Step 1: Upload the Rocket.net WHMCS Module to WHMCS
Download the latest version of the WHMCS module. A link can be found at the bottom of this article.
Once you have the module, unzip its contents and upload everything in the rocket-whmcs-module-main folder to your WHMCS installation root via (S)FTP.
Step 2: Activate the Rocket.net WHMCS Module
Navigate to the Addon Modules section of WHMCS and Activate the Rocket Module at Setup -> Addon Modules (typically at https://yourwhmcs.com/admin/configaddonmods.php)
Be sure to give Rocket Module full administrator access:
Step3: Configure the Rocket.net WHMCS Module with your Rocket.net login credentials
Next, we will want to plug in our Rocket.net login for https://control.rocket.net under the Rocket.net WHMCS Module Settings:
1. Navigate to the Rocket Module Settings (https://yourwhmcs.com.com/admin/addonmodules.php?module=wp_hosting)
2. Enter your Rocket.net email and password
Step 3: Create your first Package
Navigate to Settings -> Products/Services -> Product/Services and click Create New Product.
On this step, you'll want to choose the module Rocket.Net
Next, navigate to the Module Settings tab and choose the Location you would like for this hosting plan:
Note: You can add a list of locations to the order form by creating a custom field called Locations and providing the locations you want customers to have available in the following format:
21|US - Ashburn,22|US - Phoenix,20|SG - Singapore,16|AU - Sydney,8|NL - Amsterdam,7|DE - Frankfurt,4|EU - London
That's it! Once the above is completed, you can create a test order and your site will automatically be deployed to Rocket.net.
How Customers Access Control Panel
Now that we have a site deployed, how do customers access it? When your customers login they will be presented with their package and an option to Manage it as shown below.
| Note: You can configure all colors of the control panel inside of the WHMCS module settings. |
When customers manage their package, they will see the entire Rocket.net control panel white-labeled inside of WHMCS:
