Step 2: Build or Migrate your WordPress Site
Now that your site is created, you can access it immediately on your Rocket URL (eg: https://abc123.onrocket.site). You can also SSO into WP Admin by clicking the WP Admin button when viewing your Site.
If you would like Rocket to migrate your WordPress site from its old host for free, please open a ticket with Rocket's Mission Control
Please provide the following details:
WordPress URL:
WordPress Admin Username:
WordPress Admin Password:
Once your ticket is received our staff will migrate your WordPress site onto your Rocket URL so you can preview it on the Platform.
Step 3: Activate WooCommerce
Download the Official Rocket.net WooCommerce plugin attached to this article then please follow the instructions below:
- Upload that plugin to your site by going to wp-admin
- Install plugin
- Activate plugin
- Connect your WooCommerce site to Rocket.net with your Rocket.net Credentials (Note: This is the same email address and password used at https://control.rocket.net)
A Note About WooCommerce Block Checkout
At the moment, our WooCommerce plugin is not compatible with WooCommerce block checkout. In order to get the plugin working on new WooCommerce installs, you will need to:
1. Go to wp-admin and edit the Checkout Page
2. Use the Document Overview menu to show the Checkout block
3. Click the three dots menu and click delete
4. Type / where it says "Type / to choose a block" and then "Shortcode" to add a Shortcode block:
5. Inside the Shortcode block, add the following text: [woocommerce_checkout]
Click Update to save the page
This will allow you to see the Rocket.net server details when a customer checks out.
Congratulations! Now you’re ready to import or create your first Product. If you have any issues or require assistance, please do not hesitate to Submit a Ticket to our Support Team. We'll be glad to help you!
